Shipping & Returns
Cardinal Shower Enclosures has seven manufacturing locations across America, so whenever possible your enclosure will be shipped to you on one of their trucks. When this is not possible, Fed EX ground will be used.
- Our shipping costs are as follows for the continental US.
- One to Two Enclosures $30.00 same location.
- Three to Five Enclosures $85.00 same location.
- Six to Ten Enclosures $150.00 same location.
- Please call for quote for orders of more than 10 enclosures.
Please remember we are shipping glass, so damage is possible. It is important to pay close attention to our instructions!
DO NOT sign for your door until you open the box and inspect it for any damage! FedEd will not pay for any damage if you sign for the door without inspecting it first. If you can tell there is extensive damage, refuse the delivery!
It is our shippers responsibly to get your enclosure to you in excellent condition. Should the glass be broken or a part damaged it will be replace at no cost to you. If you can tell that the glass is broken, do not accept the delivery! A bent or damaged box does not mean the door or its hardware is damaged. Please check it out before refusing it. Should the shipper not let you open the box, accept it only on the condition there may be concealed damage. This protects you for any insurance claims.
It is your responsibility to provide accurate finished measurements when placing an order. Do not order an enclosure if the tile work or fiberglass surround is not installed. Should the door not fit because your measurement was wrong, it will be your responsibility to ship the door back at your cost.
Returns and Exchanges
Please be sure of your order before placing it as returning something of this nature and size becomes very costly and becomes your responsibility. We will do everything in our power to accept your cancellation should that become necessary.
There will be a 45% restocking charge and the cost of freight will be your responsibility.
NO refund will be given if the door you are returning arrives broken or damaged, so be sure to insure it to cover this possibility.
Should you refuse to accept an order and it's returned by our shipper you will be charged for that cost. The factory will only give refunds after the door is received, inspected and found in good condition and we are informed of that.
Custom made doors CANNOT BE RETURNED for any reason.
Should your door not fit because of improper measurements, we will work with the manufacturer to try to remedy the situation without you having to return the whole door. Cost for new parts and freight will be your responsibility.
Should your door not fit because we made or ordered it incorrectly, all cost to correct the situation will be the responsibility of Merrell Shower Doors or Cardinal Shower Doors.
